Lap is a collection of suspension and surface ceiling lights that incorporate overlapping ribbons that encircle the globe of light, embracing it as if it were on your lap. The texture generated by the intersections of each of the interspersed veins of fabric generates a subtle play of transparency and light. The manual wrapping and the blown glass elements endow it with character and humanity. Magnets in the structure make it easy to remove and fit the shade in both mounting applications.

Thursday ordinary weekend brunch is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the main room. The room now feels considered without feeling staged. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. The room feels better for having it there.
