Before this wall sconce, the bedroom always felt like it was missing one final decision. It helped finish the space without changing its everyday character.

When it is heading upstairs at the end of the day, the upstairs landing feels more welcoming with this wall sconce in place. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.
