Hillcrest Leather Accent Chair

This chair changed the balance of the sitting area without making the rest of the furniture feel secondary. I was looking for a change I would notice every day, and this has been exactly that.

With the room actually being lived in, this chair still feels polished without seeming too formal. It gives the space some presence while still feeling easy to live with. It gave the corner a reason to be used. I also like how the leather detail reads in the room without feeling too showy. I was trying to make the room feel edited rather than full, and this helped achieve that. I am pleased with the decision.

A quiet improvement to the sitting area, this seating piece makes the whole area feel more intentional. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work. It has become the seat people choose first. I can see this staying in the room even if we change some of the surrounding pieces later. It has earned its place in the room.

As part of the room refresh, this seating piece ended up being the piece that made the bedroom corner finally click. The room feels more balanced from almost every angle now. It adds just enough personality to the room. I tend to prefer furniture that blends into daily life rather than something I have to arrange the room around. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. I would make the same choice again.
