During a weekend reset, I realized how much this buffet contributes to the balance of the dining room.

Once it was in the open dining area, the buffet made the rest of the space feel much more deliberate. The room still feels relaxed, which was important to me.

For holiday meals, this buffet has made the breakfast room feel noticeably more complete. The overall look is polished without crossing into formal. It made the room feel more pulled together. I was on the fence for the first day or two, and then it started to feel completely natural in the space.

A quiet improvement to the room beside the kitchen, this sideboard makes the whole area feel more intentional. It has been especially nice during weekend brunch. It gave the dining area a proper focal point. My partner and I usually disagree on furniture, and this was one of the easier choices for both of us. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.
