As the room stands now, I was trying to keep this room comfortable rather than overly styled, and the piece fits that goal. It ended up being a stronger finishing touch than I expected. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that the piece is part of the bedroom. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.

In my bedroom, living with this seat day to day has made me appreciate the decision more, not less. The room feels more grown-up now, but it still feels like a place we actually live in.

For this part of the house, I bought this chair for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in the space.

For the family room, we use this room all the time, and this seat has fit into that routine without making the space feel precious. I would give it five stars if I had not spent so much time second-guessing the placement.
