Theodore Alexander Ione Dining Chair - Set of 2

There is a quiet confidence to this dining chair that works well in our dining area. I was aiming for a room that felt collected rather than decorated all at once, and the room feels more settled. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. It gives the surrounding furniture a clearer context instead of competing with it. It took me a few days to get used to the change in the room, but I would still choose it again.

It is easy to appreciate this chair on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in my main dining space.

We chose the dining chair after a major clean-out and reset of our main dining space, and the space feels much more intentional now. It gave us one part of the house that felt done while everything else was still settling. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. The end result in our main dining space feels like our home, only more finished.

For the dining area, this is not furniture we tiptoe around; this piece simply feels like part of the house now. I am glad I did not choose something more ornate for this space. I am glad I took the time to choose this piece.
