Theodore Alexander Althorp Living History Beats in Time

Against what we already had, there is a quiet confidence to this piece that works well in the room. What surprised me was how easy it was to keep the room feeling relaxed around it, especially during the ordinary parts of the week. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. I can change smaller decor around it without feeling like the room has to start over. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and the result feels natural instead of staged. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our living area.

I kept coming back to this furniture piece because it looked like it would suit our home, and it does.

From across our living area, the furniture piece gives the arrangement a clearer sense of balance. Our living area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
