The Denison bed is a nod to Anglo-Indian furniture.
Note the modestly scrolled headboard and footboard with caned panels.
Reeded rails, flowerhead carved roundels, scroll carvings and turned tapered legs add authenticity and charm.

Our guest bedroom feels much more pulled together now, and this bedroom piece is a big reason why. I was aiming for a room that felt collected rather than decorated all at once, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. I am glad I took the time to choose this bedroom piece.

The rest of our bedroom finally makes more sense around this piece.

It is easy to appreciate the bedroom piece on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in the bedroom. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. I am pleased with the decision and with how the bedroom came together.
