I had a hard time deciding what my main dining space was missing, and the piece turned out to be the answer. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

I was trying to keep our dining room comfortable rather than overly styled, and this dining chair fits that goal. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.

From across our dining area, the dining chair gives the arrangement a clearer sense of balance. What surprised me was how natural it felt with pieces we already had, especially when I look at the room as a whole. Seeing the dining chair with the rest of our dining area makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
