After living with this accent table for a while, I like how natural it feels in the bedroom. The setup feels less random now, even though we did not change much else. It fits easily into the small routines of the room. The room feels more considered even on an ordinary day. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the bedroom.

With the rest of the room unchanged, living with this piece day to day has made me appreciate the decision more, not less. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

The funny part is that the person who questioned this choice most is now the one who compliments this side table. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place. I was concerned the room might feel too designed, but the result is still very livable. I needed a little time to see how it fit with everything else, and now I am glad I kept the arrangement.
