Our upstairs landing made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; the space felt much more welcoming. It has been part of quiet evenings, busy mornings, and the usual mess of normal life.

Saturday slow evening reset is when this flush-mounted sconce feels most at home in the hallway.

Sunday rainy morning routine is when this flush-mounted sconce feels most at home in the entry.

Sunday relaxed bedtime is when this flush-mounted sconce feels most at home in the entry. I notice the improvement most when I am just moving through the room normally. The whole area feels easier on the eye now without looking overly styled.
