On Sunday, a slow night is when the space where everyone gathers feels most complete with this chandelier. I like it most when the dining room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. I notice the improvement most when the room is being used normally rather than styled for company.

By a unhurried Saturday afternoon, the dining room feels more welcoming with this chandelier in place. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. I second-guessed the layout at first, but the space where everyone gathers feels natural now.

A unhurried Sunday evening is when I appreciate this chandelier most in the room.

When Tuesday afternoon rolls around, this chandelier makes the central part of the house feel less unfinished. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the dining room differently just because the update is finished.
