Saturday rainy weekend brunch is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the kitchen area. The 7-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over.

Wednesday slow coffee is when this pendant light feels most at home in the small eating area. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious.

By busy cleanup, this pendant light feels completely normal in the room. I had already decided I wanted a 7-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice.
