The entry makes more sense as a whole with this wall washer in place. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression.

This wall washer works well for us, but I did rethink the bedroom once before everything felt balanced. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it.

Our room has a better sense of balance with this wall washer in place. Walking past it every day made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.
