On a quiet weeknight, I notice how naturally this flush mount fits the upstairs landing. The 4-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.

When it is coming home after dark, the room has a clearer purpose with this flush mount in place. I had already decided I wanted a 4-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up.
