Saturday quiet guest-room prep is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the hallway. Walking past it every day made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The room feels better for having it there.

Our quiet corner made the most sense once friends came over one evening; the space felt much more welcoming. It has been part of quiet evenings, busy mornings, and normal life. The room now feels considered without feeling staged.

Friday ordinary coffee is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the guest room. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home. I would make the same choice again for this room.
