Sunday rainy family dinner is when this pendant light feels most at home in the breakfast area. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. I would make the same choice again for this room.

Our small eating area made the most sense once friends came over for dinner; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. It has been a genuinely good fit for our home.

Tuesday family dinner made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the dining area. The room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light.
