Wednesday takeout night made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the main room. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.

Sunday weekend brunch made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the room. The 8-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase.

That period around finally getting the last boxes unpacked made the room feel especially important, and this pendant light made the room feel complete at the right moment. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.
