The kitchen area still feels easy to live with with this pendant light in place.

Tuesday calm weekend brunch is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the corner we use every day. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. The room feels better for having it there.

This pendant light works well for us, but I did rethink the kitchen area once before everything felt balanced. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. The room makes more sense as a whole now.

Thursday ordinary dinner prep is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the room. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
