Our entry started feeling different once this flush-mounted sconce was in place; my sister was the first person to say the room felt more pulled together. The 1-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.

Friday slow cleanup is when this flush-mounted sconce feels most at home in the guest room.

Monday busy cleanup is when this flush-mounted sconce feels most at home in the entry.

When it is getting the house settled for the night, the room feels more pulled together with this flush-mounted sconce in place. I kept coming back to this one partly because I was looking for a 1-light version. The whole area feels easier on the eye now without looking overly styled. The room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light.
