By a quiet Saturday evening, the central part of the house makes more sense as a whole with this chandelier in place. I like it most when the gathering space is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. I notice the improvement most when the room is being used normally rather than styled for company. The space where everyone gathers feels better for having it there.

When it is slow Sunday, the dining area feels calmer with this chandelier in place. I had already decided I wanted a 8-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice.
