Monday slow takeout night is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the breakfast area. The 8-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.

By ordinary dinner prep, this pendant light feels completely normal in the entry. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.

When it is the end of a long day, the breakfast area makes more sense as a whole with this pendant light in place.
