Friday ordinary morning routine is when this semi-flush ceiling light feels most at home in the bedroom.

Our main room made the most sense once my parents came by after the room update; people naturally stayed in the room longer. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. I would make the same choice again for this room.

Around finishing the room update, we added this semi-flush ceiling light, and it made the update feel a little more personal. The room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
