During the end of a long day, this pendant light feels especially natural in the small eating area. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. The room feels better for having it there.

Our entry started feeling different once this pendant light was in place; our kids kept commenting on how different the space felt. The 3-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.
