A flock of ducks in and above cattails and marsh grass tops this wildlife-inspired original oblong inverted pendant handcrafted in the USA by Meyda artisans. Suspended from chain links are the bullet-accented band and duck-topped silver mica panels. This fixture has a rust finish.

Tuesday breakfast made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the main room. The 6-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. The room makes more sense as a whole now. The room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light.

Our entry felt different after the first family dinner after we moved; adding this pendant light made the room feel complete at the right moment. The room now feels considered without feeling staged. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.

Calm Monday mornings are when this pendant light feels least like a new purchase in the main room.

Sunday quiet coffee is when this pendant light feels most at home in the kitchen area. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. The room feels better for having it there.
