Maitland Smith Octavia Side Table

I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but this table made sense in our reading corner right away.

A couple of guests have mentioned how pulled together our living room feels, and the table deserves some of the credit. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. The piece has personality, but the room still feels like our home. From different parts of our living room, the table still feels like it belongs with everything else. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.

My mother asked if we had redone the whole room when really the side table was the main change. It was nice to hear someone else notice the same improvement I had been seeing.
