Maitland Smith Nova Cocktail Table

Living with the table day to day has made me appreciate the decision more, not less.

I wanted our sitting room ready before family came to stay, and the coffee table pulled the space together in time. Finishing the room after so many other decisions felt like a relief. I was aiming for a room that felt collected over time rather than decorated all at once. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.

I bought this piece for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in our main sitting area. The best furniture choices for me are the ones that improve the whole room, and this one does. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I would make the same decision for our main sitting area again.

Nothing about daily life in our main sitting area feels rearranged around this piece, and I like that.
