Maitland Smith Finneas Console Table (SH08-091816)

After living with this console table for a while, I like how natural it feels in our hallway.

Morning and evening, this console table simply works with how we actually live in my hallway. What surprised me was how well it worked in everyday life instead of only looking good on its own, especially at the end of the day. Seeing this console table with the rest of my hallway makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. It makes the entry into the room feel more considered. This console table is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

I chose this console table during a post-move furniture reset, and it helped our living area feel less temporary. The area used to feel like an in-between space, and now it has a clear purpose visually. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this console table is part of our living area. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our living area needed.

This console table has a natural place in the hallway now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. The transition through the space feels much more finished. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
