Maitland Smith Carter Side Table (SH06-012102M)

As a piece of the overall room, nothing about this piece feels forced in the space; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially on a quiet weekday. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. The room feels more deliberate, but not like someone styled it just for a photo. The end result in our reading corner feels like our home, only more finished.

Seen with the rest of my living room, on a normal day, this piece feels like it has always belonged in this room.

In the context of our sitting area, the first reaction from my family was how complete the space suddenly looked with the accent table. I would make the same decision for our sitting area again.
