Our veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material without sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated. After a collaboration of more than ten years, Dandelion is Burkhard Dämmer’s latest contribution to LZF. Dandelion can be considered as one single lamp or a combination of lamps. Inside, every shade several LED circuits are hidden, which can be lit all at once or by sections to meet the requirements of the room and the time of day. Outside, the LZF wood veneer enfolds every geometrical shape, like cones sinking at different depths into the heart of a Dandelion. The result is a very original lamp, a geometric puzzle of light that resembles one of the most basic forms of life.

Our small eating area started feeling different once this pendant light was in place; our kids kept saying the room finally felt finished. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up.

Thursday takeout night made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the kitchen area. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. The room now feels considered without feeling staged.

Unhurried Tuesday mornings are when this pendant light feels least like a new purchase in the corner we use every day. I had already decided I wanted a 31-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the room better.

Monday ordinary coffee is when this pendant light feels most at home in the kitchen area. It has been part of quiet mornings, busy evenings, and normal life. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home.
