I kept coming back to this chair because it looked like it would suit our living room, and it does.

For our family room, the room feels much more pulled together now, and this chair is a big reason why. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially at the end of the day. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this chair is part of our family room. I can change smaller things around this chair without feeling like the whole plan for our family room has to change. For me, that makes this chair one of the better choices we made for our family room.

On a normal day, this piece feels like it has always belonged in the reading corner. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the reading corner.

There is a quiet confidence to this chair that works well in the family room. Seeing this chair with the rest of the family room makes the whole arrangement feel more connected.
