The room feels less temporary with this cabinet in it. The case piece adds presence without making the room feel closed in. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

For my hallway, this cabinet turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. I am pleased with the decision and with how my hallway came together.

Everyone in the house had an opinion when I chose the case piece, and now nobody wants me to change it. The compliments have been about the room as a whole, not just one object, which I like.

My son normally has zero interest in furniture and still had something nice to say about this cabinet. For me, that makes this cabinet one of the better choices we made for our study.
