This seating piece changed the balance of the sitting area without making the rest of the furniture feel secondary. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it. Very happy with how it has worked out.

The longer it stays in the reading corner, the more natural this chair feels with everything around it.

I bought it for the sitting area, but I appreciate it most during quiet weekend afternoons because the space just works better. I have already stopped thinking of it as the new piece, which is probably the best compliment.
