The Olympus chandelier is a real showstopper. Grand in every way, the orb's exoskeleton is handmade by Vermont metalcraft artisans, with rings of steel creating the outer sphere. A balanced blend of smooth and forged rings, each forged ring is formed and then hammered to create the unique textures and patterns found throughout. Each ring is then welded together to form a perfect sphere. A cluster of lights within glass globes are at the core of the Olympus. A focal piece in any space, perfectly suited for great rooms, grand foyers or living spaces. The Olympus collection includes the orb, horizontal and vertical chandeliers, wall sconce, and two sizes of starburst chandeliers. All Hubbardton Forge products are hand-crafted to last one at a time in Vermont.

For us, a quiet Tuesday afternoon is when the dining room feels most complete with this chandelier. When friends are over, this chandelier simply feels like part of the room.

A slow Monday night is when I appreciate this chandelier most in the central part of the house. The longer this chandelier is here, the less it feels like a new purchase. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the gathering space better.

Irene Murphy

By a calm Saturday evening, the dining area makes more sense as a whole with this chandelier in place. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. I would make the same choice again for this main room.
