Our dining area made the most sense once friends stayed longer than planned; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. I would make the same choice again for this room.

Thursday ordinary cleanup is when this pendant light feels most at home in the small eating area.

Our room started feeling different once this pendant light was in place; my brother noticed the room first the next evening.
