Our hallway made the most sense once relatives stayed over for a few days; the whole setup held together naturally. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

Friday slow cleanup is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the small sitting area. It has been part of quiet evenings, busy mornings, and normal life. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. I would make the same choice again for this room.

Sunday slow guest-room prep is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the main room. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day.
