Saturday unhurried dinner prep is when this pendant light feels most at home in the entry. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room.

Our small eating area started feeling different once this pendant light was in place; my mom noticed the change before I said anything. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.
