Global Views Traverse Console Table - Ebony Cerused by Ashley Childers

For our front room, I was trying to keep the room comfortable rather than overly styled, and the piece fits that goal. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and this ended up being the right direction. What surprised me was how much the whole arrangement improved with one choice, especially on a quiet weekday. The transition through the space feels much more finished. For me, that makes the piece one of the better choices we made for our front room.

The front room feels much more pulled together now, and the console is a big reason why. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and this got us much closer to it. The overall effect is polished but still comfortable. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. It makes the entry into the room feel more considered. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the front room.

A little time has only made me like this console more in my living area.
