Description

The Carthago Console transforms an ancient Roman key latch into a commanding architectural base. Scaled to modern proportions, its sculptural legs support a slab of rainforest green marble, where veins of deep emerald and rust trace the surface like ancient maps. Stone and metal. Precision and age. Carthago carries the grandeur of Roman craftsmanship into the present. The treasures we seek are often hidden in the ruins of what came before.

A family member noticed the entryway looked more finished before I even pointed out the new console table. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work. It gave an empty wall a purpose. I would make the same choice again.

At the end of a long day, the hallway feels especially comfortable with this entryway table in place. I was looking for a change I would notice every day, and this has been exactly that. It has earned its place in the room.
