Our room has a clearer purpose with this wall sconce in place. The 2-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. The room feels better for having it there.

This wall sconce ended up being the detail that made our guest room feel finished. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase.

Our hallway made the most sense once we had family staying for the weekend; the update made more sense once the house was actually busy. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. Walking past it every day made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.
