Saturday ordinary evening reset is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the main room. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The room feels better for having it there.

The living room feels less unfinished with this wall sconce in place. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase.

Our main room made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; the room felt ready without extra styling. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious.
