Sunday slow dinner prep is when this pendant light feels most at home in the kitchen area.

Our small eating area made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; people naturally stayed in the room longer. The room makes more sense as a whole now. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

Wednesday busy late snack is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the kitchen area. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.
