The nicest surprise is how much the console table improves the hallway without drawing attention away from everything else. My partner was unsure at first, but likes the room much more now.

Thinking about everyday use, the console table fits the living room better than something more formal would have. Nothing about it feels fussy in day-to-day use. It brought some structure to a spot that felt unfinished. It feels like a keeper.

Set into the foyer, the accent console creates a better sense of balance without becoming too dominant. It has been especially nice during weekend tidying. It gave an empty wall a purpose. I am glad we went with it.
