Within my guest bedroom, I kept the rest of this room simple, and this piece gives the space just enough presence. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. The end result in my guest bedroom feels like our home, only more finished.

Even the family member who usually ignores furniture noticed this bedside table. I did not buy it for compliments, but they have been a nice confirmation. This bedside table is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

In our bedroom, this piece has a natural place in the space now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially once the smaller decor went back into the room. Our bedroom feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
