We use the living room all the time, and this coffee table has fit into that routine without making the space feel precious. The piece adds definition, but the room still feels comfortable. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this coffee table is part of the living room. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

The balance in our main sitting area changed for the better once the table was there.

Of everything I changed in my family room, the piece made the most immediate visual difference. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me.
