For our study, this piece turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. What surprised me was how easy it was to keep the room feeling relaxed around it, especially when I see it from the doorway. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

I wanted something we would enjoy every day, and the case piece has become exactly that in our hallway. The overall effect is polished but still comfortable. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that the case piece is part of our hallway. Our hallway feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

I wanted something we would enjoy every day, and this piece has become exactly that in our dining room. The end result in our dining room feels like our home, only more finished.
