Century Furniture Bridgeton Drawer Chest

I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this piece noticeably improved the way my guest room comes together. It did not take long for the piece to feel like it belonged with everything else. Nothing else in the room had to be replaced for the new setup to work. The end result in my guest room feels like our home, only more finished.

We had been putting off our living area until the rest of the house was done; this chest made the wait feel worthwhile. It has settled into the room in a very natural way. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this chest is part of our living area. I was aiming for a room that felt collected rather than decorated all at once, and this ended up being the right direction. This chest is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
