From the doorway into my guest bedroom, I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and this bedside table works well with that idea. I appreciate it most during the ordinary evening routine. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. This ended up being exactly the kind of update my guest bedroom needed.

As the room stands now, my wife and I rarely agree on furniture right away, but this bedside table was an easy yes once it was in the space. I needed a little time to see how it fit with everything else, and now I am glad I kept the arrangement.

With our existing furniture around it, most days I do not think about the furniture individually, but this bedside table still makes the space feel more settled. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our bedside area needed.
