This dining table has a natural place in our dining area now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. The overall effect in our dining area is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. A lot of furniture looks good by itself, but the dining table also works with the rest of the dining area. I can change smaller things around the dining table without feeling like the whole plan for the dining area has to change. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially when the house is busy. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.
