A softly rounded white shade and slender walnut arm give this adjustable wall sconce an iconic mid-century character. The spherical form diffuses the light evenly, while the swivel hinge allows the shade to be repositioned for reading, bedside use or ambient illumination. The shade is formed from white polymer stretched over a steel-wire frame and paired with chrome and walnut details. An E26 or E27 lamp holder accepts LED or Edison-style bulbs, allowing the brightness and warmth to be selected for the setting. The fixture includes an inline on-and-off push switch and pull-cord control. Its narrow mounting plate may require a specially sized junction box for a clean hardwired installation.
